The past few months have been some of the most challenging in our history, due to the number and types of admissions we have been receiving. Therefore, your support and generosity is ever-more valued as times get more difficult for wildlife. We would like to thank all the people and organisations that help us, your donations mean the world to us, whatever form they take. Here are just three of the many highlights this month.

We were superbly grateful to Keighley & Craven CAMRA for naming us the chosen charity at their annual Skipton Beer Festival. Wishbone Brewery brewed a beer in our name and a proportion of the purchase price of the beer sold at the festival was donated to us. Many customers also donated the cost of their festival glass. The total raised was over £1,000. Here, our volunteer Vanessa receives the money from Wishbone Brewery's Adrian Chapman.
We are also in the process of building some new flight aviaries - very important buildings to help us transition birds from the hospital environment back to their wild lives. Thanks go to Malham Show for supporting us in the purchase of the materials and to the host of DIY gods and goddesses who are giving their time to make this essential project a reality. More on this later.
Thanks to every single organisation and individual who has donated. And, last, but not least, a big shout-out to our own team of wonderful volunteers, many of whom scaled the heights of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and raised a fantastic £2,810 for our work. We salute you!
Thank you to everyone who is helping us. We couldn't save those wild lives without you.
